Here are some of the other historic sites aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton:
- Hand of Hope: A 12-foot-high sculpture entitled “Hand of Hope,” crafted by a Vietnamese artist with the help of two Marines.
- Cristianitos Baptism Site: a state historical marker that recalls the first Christian baptism in Alta California. The monument commemorates an event that took place in 1769 (on what is now Camp Pendleton land) when Spanish explorers encountered two gravely ill indigenous babies.
