This project encompasses installing a flag pole and corresponding display panel and monument at the exact site where President Franklin Roosevelt dedicated the base, Camp Joseph H. Pendleton, on September 25, 1942 along with Mary Fay Pendleton, widow of Major General Joseph H. Pendleton.
